The company, which serves 7.5 million people across Wales and the south west of England, has been awarded its fifth gold award in recognition of its industry-leading health and safety performance and commitment.
This year the company has also been awarded a RoSPA Commendation in recognition of its industry-leading practice in health and safety at work within the oil and gas sector.
Andrew Hopkins, Wales & West Utilities director of operations, said: “We are very proud to have been recognised seven years in a row by RoSPA. The recognition demonstrates the importance we place on health and safety in all our operations across the business and the importance we place on the wellbeing of our colleagues.
“To have received commendation within the oil and gas sector makes us all proud and it’s down to the commitment and professionalism of everyone within the company that has enabled this achievement.
“Health and safety is a top priority for us and we’re always trying to find ways in which we can work to improve safety standards for customers and colleagues alike. We’re delighted that our work has been recognised by RoSPA.”
