New ADE deputy director awarded OBE
The incoming deputy director of the Association for Decentralised Energy (ADE) has been awarded an OBE for services to energy efficiency in the New Year's Honours list.

Dr Joanne Wade (pictured) will take the role as part of the merger of ADE and the Association for the Conservation of Energy (ACE) where Dr Wade is currently CEO.
She said: “I have advocated throughout my career for the benefits of energy efficiency and I am equally thrilled and humbled to have my efforts recognised in this way.”
ADE director Dr Tim Rotheray added: “Dr Wade is a passionate advocate for energy efficient solutions with a wealth of experience and a track record of delivering results and I am delighted to hear her achievements have been recognised.
“Dr Wade will add immeasurable value to the ADE and its members and we congratulate her on this well-deserved achievement.”
