Utility Week launches Network Excellence hub

Utility Week, the award-winning media brand for energy and water companies, is launching the Network Excellence hub, incorporating technical and operational content from its sister title Network, which will cease to operate as a standalone brand.

The Network Excellence hub will be available to all Utility Week members, and the Future Networks Conference, Future of Heat Conference and Network awards will be incorporated into the Utility Week portfolio.

Utility Week’s publishing director Ellen Bennett said: “We recognise that, as the UK emerges from lockdown, utilities will need to run their businesses more efficiently than ever before, delivering more for less as they spearhead the UK’s charge to Build Back Better. In recognition of this, Utility Week is launching a new stream of technical and operational content for its members, showcasing innovation and best practice, and facilitating peer-to-peer networking through private events and live conferences.

“In consequence, Network will cease to operate as a separate brand. Utility Week will deliver a programme of technical and operational content, virtual masterclasses, conferences and awards for the UK’s networks, alongside its renowned coverage of policy and regulation, strategy and customer issues.”

Utility Week is also launching Water Excellence and Retail Excellence hubs for water companies and energy retailers.

Utility Week provides unrivalled news, insight and impact analysis, private networking and live events on key areas including policy and regulation, vulnerable customers and operational excellence.  Utility Week empowers utilities to transform with confidence in a fast-moving sector.
