Hydrogen testing facility opened

H21, the world’s largest project to reduce carbon emissions, has opened the first ever testing facility for 100% hydrogen.

Cadent claim the trial “could help Britain dramatically cut its carbon emissions and open the door to a low-carbon hydrogen economy”.

Recent research and demonstrator projects are beginning to show that integrating the use of hydrogen into Britain’s energy system is feasible.
