ENW working on Macclesfield power upgrade
Engineers from Electricity North West have started a £500,000 project to upgrade the power network in Wildboarclough, Macclesfield in the Peak District National Park.

The firm will start to install 2.3km of new and efficient underground electricity cable this week.
Tom Woolley, secondary network south programme manager for Electricity North West, said: “Electricity is often taken for granted and it is something we all rely on for every aspect of our daily lives.
“This is why we are proud to be working and investing in this essential upgrade project to ensure local customers continue to get the power they need and when they need it for years to come.”
