Following a successful inaugural year in 2019, the Network Awards will return on 17th March 2020, shining a light once more on the good work taking place across the UK's energy networks, their supply chains and stakeholders.
Organised by Network Magazine the event will take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole. Entries are open for the 15 categories which range from innovation project of the year across both the gas and electricity sectors, to achievements in stakeholder engagement, health and safety and data. This year sees the introduction of two new categories - the Cross-Vector Project of the Year and Lifetime Achievement Award.
Network editor Alec Peachey said: "The 2019 event was extremely successful and we're looking forward to once again shining a light on the good work taking place across the sector. Whilst there are many challenges facing energy networks it's important to recognise the people, teams, projects and innovations that continue to shape the energy industry.
"Networks don't often get an opportunity to tell their stories but with the introduction of the Network Awards this has now changed. We're once again expecting a great turnout for the event and I'd encourage everyone to get their entries in."
